The Living Record is March For Our Lives' national archive of stories from people who have experienced gun violence firsthand — survivors, family members, witnesses, educators, first responders, and community members who carry the weight of this crisis every day.

Gun violence in America has become so pervasive that it risks becoming abstract — reduced to statistics, headlines, and political arguments. The Living Record is a refusal of that abstraction. Every story here is a person. Every person mattered.

These stories may guide how we speak, create, and organize. They may appear in future campaigns, exhibits, or public projects — but nothing is ever shared publicly without the submitter's explicit consent. Your story belongs to you, and you can withdraw it at any time using your story code.
